Biggest Worry/Thoughts on 2017:

Although things are very scary right now politically speaking (right wing movements and co), I dare to hope that this is what will make people react and therefor create deeper change in mentalities. 2017 is supposed to be a year of new beginnings, so let’s see.

What is your relationship to your home space?:

My home is my safe zone. Sometimes it’s a cave I crawl into to shut out the city action. It’s a place of inspiration: I have a lot of plants, colours, patterned fabrics, books and objects I somehow find interesting. And of course it’s my work place. So I spend a lot of time at home.

What would you tell your teenage self?:

Everything is going to be ok. It only gets better from here.

Name one quality about yourself that you have had to work on accepting?:

A sort of hyper-sensitivity. I accept it now to a certain degree but still trying to find a way to switch it off in some situations.

Website you check daily/Last item in your browser history?:

AFROPUNK / NTS Radio

Name some of the women that you look up to:

My mother, Erykah Badu, Angela Davis, Frida Kahlo

Salty or sweet?:

Both! One doesn’t go without the other.
